

Limassol, by far Cyprus's most exciting city, filled with historical monuments, exciting cafes and beautiful long shoreline, you certainly won't be dissapointed visiting Limassol. Why not take a walk around the old town and get a feel of old town life and the stunning architechture. There are some amazing dining opportunities in Limassol, why not try one of the many restored carob mill restaurants situated around the the medieval castle.

Ancient Amathus
The ancient city of Amathus is one of the 10 ancient cities of Cyprus, set right next to the beach front you can get a real feel of what the city used to look like, with rather cheap entry fee and a lot to see. Make sure to drive by at night because the ruins are lit and look stunning. Also these are very close to a secluded beach pathway for a stroll by the waves afterwards
Limassol Municipal Park

Is one of the hidden gems of Limassol, bursting with palm trees, pine trees and other exotical plants it will give you a feel of the fauna in Cyprus. There is an assortment of cafe's and snack shops distributed throughout the park. While your ther you could also take a quick glance at what shows are on in the open-air apmi theatre. The famous wine festival is held here once a year usually in september time.
